Mauricio was born and raised in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, when he is not cooking in the outdoors he is traveling, learning new things, establishing new friendships and spreading his vision of cooking Mexican Food to the World.
Mauricio can certify what a true Mexican restaurant flavor is since he has been eating and cooking real Mexican for the past 43 years. Fluent in English and Spanish with a Bachelors degree in Business and and Executive Management Program (AD-2) from IPADE. This gives him an advantage over most restaurant consultants.
He is a strong entrepreneur, Business Strategist and Innovator professional which is also a passionate Chef. Among other business he owns a successful Catering Business and a Restaurant chain that is in current expansion in his home town of Monterrey which has set the standard for what Mexican-BBQ fusion is. Yes the BBQ Taco and Salsa.
